✨When you have been going steady all week long, handling ALL of your responsibilities, it’s okay to start slowly today. It’s okay to snooze that alarm two to three times before finally getting out of bed. It’s okay to actually sit down and really enjoy your morning coffee. It’s okay to take a deep, meditating breath before proceeding with your day! When your body starts to talk to you, it’s okay to sit back and listen.
Before I started on my healing journey, I was so focused on accomplishing certain goals. I was busy trying to get to a certain level, and by a certain time, I had completely neglected my OWN feelings and emotions. But not anymore. I now put myself FIRST! When I switched my mindset to putting myself first instead of last, my outlook on life changed. Changed for to better because NOW I listen to my body. Not only do I pay close attention to what my body tells me but I also listen to my mind and my soul! I am the only one who knows my body needs REST. I am the only person who knows I need a MENTAL break from thinking so much. I am the only person who knows when my soul needs cleansing! I am the ONLY one who can give myself what I need!
Today, start your day slow so you can give your mind, body, and soul a soothing cleanse that it needs. Today is a cloudy and wet morning. Perfect for reflecting and meditating.
